I have been marketing both Forestville and Twin Fountains. You can call me to buy either one of them.
Frankly speaking, they each have their pros and cons.
However, here's a comparison:
Price
For price, Twin Fountains average psf is at 760 while Forestville average psf is at 720. This is because Forestville developer has bought the land at a lower price and they have their own direct construction team, further reducing cost.
Prices of these 2 condo will rise again, as another adjacent piece of land is bought at a much higher prices than both of them, and will be expected to launch in 2014/2015.
Developer
Twin Fountains is co-developed by Fraser Centrepoint, a well-known developer while Forestville is developed by Hao Yuan, the same developer of Nautica, a seasoned developer.
Scenery
Twin fountains have the luxury of facing the greenery towards Chong Pang Air Base, hence the higher levels will have security screening panels installed on the windows.
Forestville is sandwiched between Twin Fountains and La Casa, hence, the Outer units are pretty much facing the roads, or towards La Casa or Twin Fountains' buildings and pools. The Inner units are all facing the pool.
While Twin Fountains have unique themes, different from the convention condos.
Transport
Forestville is nearer to the bus stops which have more bus, less walking, and the Developer has catered chartered bus for 3 years after TOP to Admiralty MRT Station, Woodlands Causeway point, until 2019 when the MRT station is built.
Twin Fountains do not have that luxury.
Other Freebies
Forestville has free internet, cable television, home phone for 3 years, and other guarantees.
Size and Dual Key.
Both of the condos have limited units with sizes bigger than 160sqm. All of the bigger units and dual keys EC without the Multi-generation restriction, in Singapore have been sold out. Forestville is the last batch. The new launches in the future will not have sizes bigger than 160sqm. And their dual key units can only be bought by 3 generation family ( Grandparents, staying with children and grand childrens ).
